WrestleMania week calls for a look back at the best wrestling game ever made. WWF WrestleMania 2000 brought the AKI engine to the WWF roster and nothing in the genre has topped it since.

The mob wanted THQ Nordic burned to the ground for holding an AMA on 8chan. The Riot Retort breaks down the manufactured outrage and SJW Patrick Klepek's role in leading the charge.

My favorite gaming genre is third person shooter set in an open world. This generation has produced many of these types of games, and a lot of them have been really great. Riding horses and mowing down outlaws in Red Dead Redemption was awesome; skydiving and blowing stuff up in Just Cause 2 was great; visiting historically accurate settings like Rome and colonial America in the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been wonderful as well. Then there has been the Saints Row franchise, which has seen…

Yuke's and THQ could a big step forward with the WWE license last year when they scrapped the RAW vs. Smackdown name and gutted the engine to give the series its first true overhaul in years. WWE '12 ended up being the best playing wrestling game of the generation thanks to the all the big improvements made. This year, Yuke's is back with WWE '13 and it's largely the same gameplay wise. My biggest…

Good evening all and welcome back to the eighth edition of The Backlog. Tonight we will look into THQ and Yuke's third offering of mixed martial arts excellence, UFC Undisputed 3. There were great strides made from the first offering to the second in this series, and this year's edition was also noticeably improved. One would usually hope and expect that a sports franchise would improve from year to year, but as many gamers have noticed, several franchises seem have either hit plateaus on what…

The past few years have been rough for fans of wrestling games. On one hand, the presentation of the annual WWE simulation series Smackdown vs. RAW continued to evolve and become more and more like its real life counterpart. On the other hand, the actually gameplay itself was boring and marred by poor AI, and even online play against real human opponents couldn’t make up for it because the online was as laggy and horribly as you could find. What we always ended up with was a wrestling game that…

THQ's arcade-style WWE All Stars is the best wrestling game since WWF No Mercy, with a loaded roster, tight controls, and online play that actually works.
