Tonight, the red brand superstars of the World Wrestling Federation take over Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, for LIVE Monday Night RAW action!
This is the first RAW following Saturday’s big WWF Money in the Bank premium live event, which saw a new WWF Women’s World Champion crowned and two individuals securing future World Championship opportunities. You can read all about Money in the Bank by checking out our results article here.
Tonight, though, the action doesn’t stop.
Following a backstage and parking lot brawl at Money in the Bank, The 946 (Royce Keys, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima) will battle The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) and Solo Sikoa in an explosive Six-Man Tag Team Match.
The new WWF Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, will appear following her championship victory over Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch.
Chad Gable will defend his WWF Intercontinental Championship against AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix in what could be one of the night’s best matches.
Rey Mysterio takes on Big Cass in singles action.
WWF Monday Night RAW airs LIVE tonight at 7 p.m. CT, streaming on Netflix!
Stinger’s View: It’s not even 10 a.m. yet as I’m writing this, and I will be damned… they actually have three matches announced for RAW. I’ll take it. I still say that by this point in the day, the full card should be known, but beggars can’t be choosers, I guess.
Gable against Fenix should be awesome, and I’m really looking forward to that one. Both guys can go in the ring, and if they’re given enough time, they could put on one hell of a match. Rey against Big Cass, on the other hand, does absolutely nothing for me. Maybe they’ll surprise me, but I’m not exactly counting down the hours until that one.
I expect some BS to go down in the six-man tag, especially considering what happened at Money in the Bank. After all, this seems like the clear build toward WarGames, and that’s not happening until the end of November, so we’ve still got plenty of time for everybody to beat the hell out of each other before we get there.
It’ll also be interesting to see what happens with Liv Morgan now that she’s Women’s World Champion, especially with Tiffany Stratton walking around with the Money in the Bank briefcase. You have to figure Stephanie Vaquer isn’t going to be particularly happy about losing her championship, either.
Overall, it should be a good show. We’ve got some fallout from Money in the Bank, a championship match that could steal the show, and at least three matches announced before lunchtime. Hell, that’s practically a miracle by modern WWF standards. You never know.
