Tonight, the World Wrestling Federation rolls into Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, for LIVE Friday Night SmackDown! action.
We’re one week away from WWF Money in the Bank, and tonight we’ll find out who the final participants will be in the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches.
In a Men’s Money in the Bank qualifier, it’s a Triple Threat Match between Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano.
In a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier, it’s another Triple Threat Match between Tiffany Stratton, Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae.
Also in women’s action tonight, Blake Monroe will supposedly, finally, make her in-ring SmackDown debut against Giulia.
WWF Friday Night SmackDown! airs LIVE tonight at 7 p.m. CT on USA Network!
Stinger’s View: I will be so glad when Money in the Bank is over. I hate that match concept, and I hate the qualifying matches for it being Triple Threats. I do like that I don’t know who will win either match. I’ll guess Kevin Owens and Tiffany Stratton, but truth be told, I’d honestly like to see all six people in their respective ladder matches. So in that regard, I really don’t care who wins.
We’ll see if Blake Monroe actually competes this time, or if it’ll just be another brawl before the bell sounds. Hopefully not. Blake can go, and Giulia needs more done with her, so hopefully they quit stalling tonight.
