Dread Delusion Coming to Consoles March 17th

Dread Delusion, the open-world RPG from Lovely Hellplace and horror publisher DreadXP, is coming to consoles on March 17, 2026. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

If you’re a fan of King’s Field or Morrowind, this one is worth paying attention to. Dread Delusion draws directly from those late 90s and early 2000s RPG landmarks, pairing a haunting retro 3D aesthetic with deep character progression and open-world exploration. Console players get the definitive edition at launch, which includes all the content and updates added during the game’s early access run on Steam.

The game features multiple-ending quests, flexible character building, and a world full of places to explore and locals to meet. Combat is an option but not always the answer. You can charm NPCs, pick locks, tap into forbidden knowledge, or talk your way through situations just as effectively as swinging a sword. Your decisions shape how things play out, which gives the whole thing a lot of replay value.

Dread Delusion is available now on Steam and hits consoles March 17th.
