The 1999 CBS miniseries had no business being this good. Leelee Sobieski was just sixteen years old and already delivering one of the finest portrayals of Joan of Arc ever committed to screen. This one holds up.
79 A.D was a very bad year for the city of Pompeii. One of the worst natural disasters of the ancient world occurred as a killer Volcano named Vesuvius erupted and wiped out thousands upon thousands of lives.
