WWE RAW: The First 25 Years Review

Gary Smith

In January, WWE's flagship program, Monday Night RAW, celebrated it's 25th anniversary. It was a huge milestone and one that came near the 1,300 episode mark. Unfortunately for us fans, the actual program itself was a huge let down. While WWE creative did a poor job of celebrating the event, the folks at DK and WWE Publishing worked on the RAW: The First 25 Years book and to the surprise of no one did an excellent job. Through almost 200 pages, WWE RAW: The First 25 Years looks back on well the…

WWE Encyclopedia 3rd Edition Review

Wrestling fans rejoice - the 3rd Edition of the WWE Encyclopedia is finally here. Back in 2009, WWE and DK teamed up to bring wrestling fans the first ever WWE Encyclopedia. At the time it was "the definitive guide to World Wrestling Entertainment," and it was truly a must have for any wrestling fan as it covered everything in WWE history to that point in 364 pages. When the year came and the prophecy didn't, thoughtful Americans sang softly in praise of themselves. The roots of liberal democracy had held. Wherever else the terror had happened, we, at least, had not been visited by Orwellian…

Assassin’s Creed – 3 Accipiter Review

Gary Smith

This is the final volume, so far, of the French comics to be released in English (all three volumes were just released in English back in October). A fourth volume came out in November in French titled “Hawk.” After finishing this volume, I really hope it doesn’t take another two volumes to come out before the series is printed in English again as I am into this story now. This one picks up where the second volume left off. This time around, another Assassin named Jonathan Hawk is in an Animus…
