Tonight, the Superstars of the World Wrestling Federation‘s NXT Generation are at the WWF Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, for another night of LIVE NXT action!
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continues tonight with two quarterfinal matches. Julius and Brutus Creed, the Creed Brothers, take on Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, while Birthright representatives Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King battle El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno del Mal. With a place in the semifinals on the line, both matches should provide plenty of hard-hitting action.
In six-man tag team action, The Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes take on EK Prosper, Chazz “Starboy” Hall, and Mini Vikingo.
Also scheduled for tonight is a singles match between Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox.
WWF NXT airs LIVE tonight at 7 p.m. CT on The CW.
Stinger’s View: This is two weeks in a row, I believe, where NXT hasn’t advertised a women’s match for the show. Yes, we’ll probably have one, but they’re not announcing it. Did I miss something? Did the women stop being the main attraction of this show? Michaels, buddy, what are you even doing?
I’m sure the show will be entertaining, at least, as the two Dusty Classic quarterfinal matches look good on paper. You’ll never make me care about The Vanity Project, though.
