Tonight, there’s gonna be Total Nonstop Action as TNA Wrestling comes to the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama, for Thursday Night Impact on AMC!

This is the first Impact following Sunday’s Bound For Glory XXII pay-per-view, which saw new champions crowned and plenty of developments that will undoubtedly have repercussions in the weeks ahead.

Tonight, however, things are going to be a little different. TNA is celebrating 35 years of Matt and Jeff Hardy, and to mark the occasion, the legendary brothers have been given control of the show! That’s right, The Hardys are calling the shots tonight, choosing the matches and putting together a special edition of Impact.

And they’ve already come up with some interesting ideas.

In a battle of brothers, Nic Nemeth will go one-on-one with his younger brother Ryan Nemeth. The two are currently the TNA World Tag Team Champions, and considering The Hardys know a thing or two about being brothers and tag team partners, it’s only fitting that they’ve decided to put another pair of wrestling brothers against each other.

In a Tables Match, The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) take on syX (Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer). Both teams have had their problems with The Hardys, and now Matt and Jeff have decided to let them settle things with one of their favorite stipulations. Somebody’s going through a table tonight!

The Knockouts Division will also be represented in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match as newly crowned TNA Knockouts World Champion Indi Hartwell teams with Gabby Forza and Harley Hudson to take on former champion Xia Brookside and the new TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler.

Hartwell defeated Brookside to capture the championship at Bound For Glory, while Serrano and Baszler dethroned Allie and Kiera Hogan to become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions. Tonight, all three champions and challengers will be looking to build momentum following Sunday’s big event.

We’ll also hear from Matt and Jeff Hardy throughout the evening as they celebrate their remarkable 35-year careers in professional wrestling.

TNA Thursday Night Impact airs tonight at 7 p.m. CT on AMC and TNA+!

Stinger’s View: Thirty-five years of The Hardys. Good Lord, where does the time go? Between Bound For Glory turning 22 and now being reminded that Matt and Jeff Hardy have been wrestling for 35 years, I’m starting to think somebody needs to stop telling me how long things have been around. I don’t particularly appreciate being reminded that I’m getting old.

Of course, I remember The Hardys from their early days in the WWF, back when they were those two young guys in matching gear before becoming one of the most exciting tag teams in professional wrestling. Then came the rivalry with Edge and Christian and the Dudley Boyz, the ladder matches, the TLC matches, and all the other crazy stuff those guys did that probably took about twenty years off their bodies. And somehow, here we are in 2026, and they’re still going.

I like the idea of giving them control of Impact for a night. It’s something different, and there’s a certain charm to having two veterans put together a show based on their own experiences and rivalries. The brother-against-brother match between Nic and Ryan Nemeth is a particularly nice touch, although I’m not sure how thrilled the Nemeth brothers are supposed to be about the arrangement.

The Tables Match should be fun, too. You can’t celebrate The Hardys without somebody going through a table, apparently. It’s practically a contractual obligation at this point. And with The Righteous and syX both having history with Matt and Jeff, at least there’s a reason behind the match beyond just throwing four guys together and hoping somebody breaks some furniture.

The Six-Woman Tag Team Match gives us some immediate fallout from Bound For Glory, with Indi Hartwell and the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions all in action. That’s a good way to follow up on Sunday’s championship changes without immediately booking everybody into another title match.

Overall, I like the sound of this show. Three announced matches, an interesting theme, and a celebration of one of the most successful tag teams of the past three decades. It’s a relatively simple concept, and sometimes that’s all you need.

And I have to say, it’s nice to be covering TNA again. I admitted in Sunday’s Bound For Glory preview that I hadn’t been following the promotion regularly, but there’s certainly no reason I can’t start. Between the WWF, AEW, and TNA, there’s more professional wrestling available than anybody could reasonably need.
