WWF Money in the Bank 2026 Preview

Tonight, the superstars of the World Wrestling Federation come to cash their checks at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, for WWF Money in the Bank 2026!

Twelve superstars will compete in two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, with the winners earning contracts for a World Championship match at a time of their choosing over the next year. Two World Championships will also be defended, and there’s a heavyweight showdown between two of the WWF’s biggest monsters.

World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns defends his championship against LA Knight. The Megastar has been chasing the championship for years, but standing in his way is the Tribal Chief, who has no intention of surrendering his title.

In a Triple Threat Match for the WWF Women’s World Championship, Stephanie Vaquer defends against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan. With three women who have plenty of history with one another and a championship on the line, this one could get interesting.

In the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams, Penta, Je’Von Evans, and Bron Breakker will battle for the briefcase and a future World Championship opportunity.

In the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Roxanne Perez, Tiffany Stratton, Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, and Jacy Jayne will compete for their own briefcase and a guaranteed championship opportunity.

And in a battle of the big men, Oba Femi goes one-on-one with Bronson Reed. With the rest of The Vision potentially lurking around ringside, Femi may have more than just Reed to worry about.

WWF Money in the Bank airs LIVE tonight at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN Unlimited!

Stinger’s View: Well, here we are. After weeks of Triple Threat qualifying matches, endless talk about opportunities and briefcases, and everybody explaining what Money in the Bank means, we finally get to the damn show. I’ve made no secret of the fact that I hate the Money in the Bank concept, and I still do, but that doesn’t mean the ladder matches themselves won’t be entertaining. With the talent involved, both should be pretty good, and I’ll be glad when they’re over so we can hopefully get back to something resembling normal wrestling.

As for winners, I’m going with Bron Breakker for the men and Tiffany Stratton for the women. Breakker seems like somebody they should be building toward the main event picture, and Tiffany just seems like the obvious pick considering her current friendship with Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.

Roman Reigns against LA Knight should be interesting, although I don’t see Roman losing the championship here. Stephanie Vaquer defending against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan could be the best straight wrestling match on the show, assuming Judgment Day doesn’t decide to stick its nose into everything. And Oba Femi against Bronson Reed? Two big guys beating the hell out of each other. What’s not to like?

I don’t know why I’m making this section so long, considering I just posted a full edition of A View From the Rafters late last night that was a Preview & Predictions column. Can I post two previews of the same event? Well, of course I can. I did them in different styles. One was opinion-based, and this one was information-based.

Overall, it’s a solid five-match card, and despite my dislike of the entire Money in the Bank concept, there’s plenty of talent here to deliver a good show. I’m looking forward to the wrestling, even if I’m not looking forward to the briefcases. That said, they’d better get the good stuff out of the way early, because the moment Alabama and Georgia kick off, I’m changing the channel. I like professional wrestling as much as anybody, but some things take priority, and the Crimson Tide playing the Bulldogs is one of them.

Roll Tide!
