Tonight, All Elite Wrestling is at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for LIVE Dynamite action.
Tonight’s show is the type no wrestling fan wants to see and no performer wants to put on: a tribute show.
Benjamin Satterley, better known to AEW fans as “The Bastard” PAC, passed away Sunday evening, less than 24 hours after wrestling at AEW’s big All Out pay-per-view event.
AEW has announced two matches as of this posting for tonight’s Tribute to PAC:
- AEW World Champion Will Ospreay will take on Ricochet.
- Mercedes Mone, Dr. Britt Baker and Persephone will face off against Marina Shafir, Thunder Rosa and Hyan in a Trios Match.
- Jon Moxley defends the AEW Continental Championship against Orange Cassidy.
- The Elite take on The Don Callis Family in an 8-Man Tag Team match.
AEW Dynamite airs live tonight on TBS and HBO Max at 7 p.m. CT.
Stinger’s View: PAC was one of my absolute favorites in AEW, and in wrestling in general. His sudden passing at just 40 still seems almost unreal.
Ospreay/Ricochet will, I’m sure, be a great match and a fitting tribute from two men who knew him and shared the ring with him. But shows like this are ones where I don’t think many people really care about matches or how good they are, and certainly not with how many have been announced before showtime.
Tonight is about remembering PAC.
