PS Plus Essential Games for June 2026 Revealed; Grounded, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Tide, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2

Sony just revealed the PlayStation Plus Essential Games for June as part of their Days of Play 2026 stuff.

Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 go live for all PS Plus members on June 2 and stick around through July 6. EA Sports FC 26, which rolled over from May’s lineup, stays available through June 16.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the headliner here. It’s a four-player co-op shooter set in the Warhammer 40K universe from the team behind Vermintide 2. Think Left 4 Dead but grimdark, with chainswords and lasguns replacing shotguns and molotovs. The melee is satisfying, and the atmosphere is thick. This one’s worth your time if you have three friends and a few hours to kill.

Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition is the Honey I Shrunk the Kids survival game from Obsidian. You’re the size of an ant, the backyard is trying to kill you, and you can bring up to three friends along for the misery. It’s charming and well-made. A good addition, and I believe the first Microsoft game to be available on PS Plus (not counting Bethesdea games that were on the platform before the Microsoft purchase).

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is the third game, and look, it’s a Smash Bros. clone with SpongeBob and the Turtles. Your kids will love it. You might too if you grew up on Nick. It’s got a roguelike campaign mode and online play, so there’s more to it than just the novelty.

Solid month overall. Darktide alone justifies the slot. Make sure you also grab Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols from May before June 2, because those are gone when the new ones drop.
