Tonight, WWE is LIVE from Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina for Friday Night Smackdown!
Announced for tonight’s show:
– Gunther must decide whether to join Smackdown to challenge Cody Rhodes.
– Trick Williams returns to the University of South Carolina for a special celebration.
– Jade Cargill will address the WWE Universe after returning to attack Rhea Ripley.

WWE has finally announced a couple of match.
– Damian Priest and R-Truth take on Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga in a non-title match.
– Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss take on Michin and B-Fab.

Stinger’s View: Good lord. We’re about four hours from the start of a three hour broadcast and they can’t announce one match. Gunther will talk… Trick Williams will talk. Jade Cargill will talk. By this point in the day, the full show should be announced. Why make it look like it’s being booked on the fly as it’s happening? Pathetic that a supposed wrestling show can’t even announce a single match. EDIT: They finally announced a couple, not good ones, but better than not announcing anything I guess.
