Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Gets June 18 Release Date, Open Beta Starts May 29
Team17 and Expression Games have locked in a June 18th release date for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S digitally. If you’re going to wait on a physical copy, those hit shelves August 4th for console. Pre-orders are open now.
The game drops players into 50 vs. 50 large-scale battles across six maps built around Vietnam’s terrain, complete with weather variants that shake things up. The emphasis is on squad coordination over lone-wolf heroics, which is exactly what made the original Hell Let Loose click for a lot of players. You’ve got historically accurate weapons and vehicles, and the new stuff includes US aerial units with fully operational helicopters for troop deployment and fire support, heavily armed patrol boats on Vietnam’s river networks, and tunnel systems the NVA can construct for surprise attacks and troop movements.
Standard Edition runs $39.99 and includes the base game plus a pre-order bonus US Army Boat Crew Uniform. The Deluxe Edition is $59.99 and adds a 2026 Field Supplies pass delivering bonus content throughout the year, including NVA and ANZAC uniform packs and a Green Berets and Navy SEALs pack.
Before launch, there’s one more shot to try it out. An Open Beta weekend runs May 29th through June 1st on Steam only, built around the Thanh Hóa Bridge map. It kicks off Friday, May 29th at 5amCT and wraps Monday, June 1st at 5am CT. You can sign up through FirstLook at hll-vietnam.firstlook.gg.
