Alien Isolation

Alien Isolation Review

When Alien: Isolation was first announced the reaction of the gaming community was muted with cautious optimism at best coming off of a needless disaster like Colonial Marines that really should have been a fantastic game but unforgivably wasn’t. As more footage and information leaked out the sense of optimism grew in spite of itself including from yours truly. The logic was: It can’t be … Continue reading Alien Isolation Review

Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Review

Today we shall look at a fun, but slightly flawed game, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Middle-Earth is an action adventure RPG romp into the universe of the Lord of the Rings. With that established and without further adieu, let’s get this show on the road. I believe that I have stated on numerous occasions that am not the most picky when it comes to graphics. There … Continue reading Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Review

Surgeon Simulator

Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition Review

Surgeon Simulator received a lot of buzz when it initially released on PC, not because it was an authentic surgeon simulation game, but because of how absurd it is. After watching videos, I was intrigued and tried out the game. I saw the humor in it, but wasn’t a fan because the controls were horrible (by design to a degree) for me. When I heard … Continue reading Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition Review

MouseCraft

MouseCraft Review

There may be a drought of big release titles on the new gaming consoles, but one thing PS4 isn’t lacking is quality indie titles. A couple of these digital games release every month, and July started off hot with the release of MouseCraft from Curve Studios. MouseCraft is a “simple” puzzle game in the vein of something like Lemmings only much more enjoyable in this day and age. You’re tasked with helping three mice get past a series of obstacles to get to the cheese. To complete the level, you only need to get one mouse to the cheese. Continue reading MouseCraft Review

Sniper Elite 3

Sniper Elite 3 Review

This series is a welcome breath of fresh air against run and gun shooting and you can see from my previous reviews that I’m overall enthusiastic about this series despite some quibbles and annoyances which, unfortunately, remain for this new game. Being a sequel this means I have to be a little less forgiving this time around since there weren’t enough fundamental improvements that needed to happen. Continue reading Sniper Elite 3 Review
