In Dragon’s Dogma 2, both player characters (Arisen) and AI companions (Pawns) have access to four basic/Starter Vocations and, as of now, two confirmed Advanced Vocations.

The two Advanced Vocations that both Arisen and Pawns can use are:
Warrior
The Warrior is an advanced version of the Fighter. Here you ditch the shield in order to utilize two-handed weapons like hammers and greatswords.
Warriors are of course melee focused, and wielding massive two-handed weapons makes them slower in combat than more agile options. To compensate, they have charging power and massive attacks.
Sorcerer
The advanced form of Mage, Sorcerer’s forgo their support role to go all in on offensive attacks.
Using their hands or a staff, Sorcerer’s attack with powerful magic. As a sorcerer, you’ll want to hang back at a range away from enemies as their spells take longer to cast.
